We are now expanding our operations and are looking for another personal representative for the Disability Sector.

A personal representative provides voluntary support for adults with extensive and long-term mental disabilities. The assignment involves strengthening the individual's rights and opportunities in contact with various public authorities. As a personal representative with us, you will become part of an engaged team consisting of seven competent colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences. One of the personal representatives also has a coordinating role.

The position is permanent with a full-time engagement (100%) and is based at our office at Österängsparken, Förlandsgränd 1C. You will work standard office hours with annualized working hours, which provides good opportunities for flexibility. The work involves a significant amount of travel by car, as clients may be living in different parts of the county. Start date as agreed.

Your new job

In the role of personal representative, you will primarily work on mapping and formulating the client's needs for support and assistance in society, in close collaboration with the individual. The support can cover areas such as finances, daily activities, work, leisure, and contacts with authorities. To succeed in the assignment, we would like you to have previous experience working with people, for example in a social profession, and feel confident in that work. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with people with mental disabilities. You also need to have the ability to show empathy and understanding for the client's situation, while being aware of the importance of supporting without taking over the client's responsibility or tasks. Good teamwork skills are important, as is contributing to a professional and respectful work climate together with your colleagues or in collaboration with partners. Collaboration with other municipalities occurs. It is also an advantage if you have the ability to read, understand, and apply instructions and regulations from, for example, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency or other authorities.

Your qualifications

Requirements

  • Upper secondary education that the employer deems suitable
  • Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
  • Good computer skills
  • Driver's license category B (including manual transmission)

  • Knowledge and/or experience in reading, understanding, and applying instructions and regulations from authorities
