Information about the role

Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Start-Up, is looking for a communicative, driven, and technically competent person to take on the role of Business Area Manager Power Systems. In this role, you combine leadership with business responsibility and become a central part of the company's continued development. You will be responsible for a team of approximately eight people and work closely with customers, employees, and the management group.

We are looking for you who want to remain technically close to the operations while having the opportunity to influence both people and business. The role involves combining leadership with operational work in projects where you ensure technical quality, support the team as a mentor, and contribute to business development and long-term stability within the business area. The group is technically strong and self-sufficient, meaning you need to be an present leader who supports when needed while giving room for independence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Power Systems business area
• Personnel responsibility and support the team's development
• Combine the management role with operational consulting assignments for clients
• Participate in client dialogues, sales, and quotation work
• Plan, follow up, and drive projects together with the team
• Act as a technical sounding board and mentor
• Participate in business planning and management group work

We are looking for you who have

• Ability and knowledge to support the team in technical questions and act as a sounding board within power systems
• Three to five years of work experience from the energy sector with a focus on power systems
• Confidence in project environments where technical and commercial responsibility are combined
• Understanding of technical calculations and quotation work within power systems
• Experience in project management and economic understanding for calculation, budgeting, and follow-up work
• Leadership experience or a natural aptitude for leadership and a desire to develop within personnel responsibility
• Good proficiency with the Office suite
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
