Your Responsibilities

In the role of Designer, you will have the daily opportunity to deepen your expertise in steel structures and mechanical installation solutions. You will have many internal and external contact points, giving you a broad network and good opportunities for development. For those who wish to broaden their competence, there is also the possibility to eventually take on a more coordinating role and support other installation engineers in development projects.

You will become part of an open and flat-hierarchy team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and personal development are a natural part of everyday life. The team is responsible for all installation design within development projects, which means close collaboration with system design and many varied and stimulating tasks.

Examples of tasks include:

• Design steel structures and installation solutions for development projects.
• Create manufacturing data in NX and associated technical documentation.
• Participate in the development and improvement of product standards, technical solutions, and functions.
• Ensure that technical solutions are cost-effective, quality-assured, and meet current requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement and subcontractors to develop optimal technical solutions.
• Handle technical issues, conduct root cause analyses, and update technical documentation.
• Interact with other system areas and contribute to the overall design philosophy for our gas turbine packages.
• Ensure that design work is carried out according to the project plan and timeframes.
• Create, review, and update investigations and documentation within your technical area.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of relevant norms and standards in process and mechanical engineering, especially PED and ASME.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Swedish is an asset.
