Sveden Trä is a company characterized by tradition and history, where local roots have shaped the business. The company has a turnover of approximately 750 million SEK and currently employs around 150 people. Based at the sawmill in Rågsveden, we produce 175,000 m³ of sawn timber annually in both pine and spruce.

Of the sawn timber, approximately 60,000 m³ is further processed through planing, surface treatment, and impregnation. In addition to Rågsveden, our production facilities are located in Malung, Vansbro, and Mockfjärd. We also have our own forestry department with offices in Rågsveden and Ekshärad. The forestry department supplies approximately 70% of the sawmill's raw materials.

The company has experienced significant growth and a high rate of investment in recent years.

You will join our technical department team of about ten people. Our overarching common task is to ensure that our production, machinery, and facilities operate in a safe, efficient, and sustainable manner. This is achieved through daily work with preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs, as well as ongoing improvements and involvement in investment projects.

The role places high demands on responsibility, flexibility, and a positive, solution-oriented attitude, as you will be a key resource for keeping production running smoothly. Some tasks may occasionally need to be performed when production is halted, either due to urgent operational disruptions or during planned maintenance outside regular working hours. We also support our other production units, so travel within the local region may occur. The regular working hours consist of a shift pattern: morning/evening shifts, weekends off, and a week off.

A benefit would be if you have a background as a repair technician, mechanic, or construction worker, or alternatively, have a focus on technology/design or facility services in some form. A valid B-class driver's license is required.

We offer a stable and long-term workplace with a good collaborative climate, high trust, and short decision-making paths. The successful candidate must have the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and an interest in working in a team where the team comes before the individual.

The position is full-time and, after a probationary period, will be a permanent employment. Apply by 2026-08-01, start date by agreement.

For further information about the position, please contact Maintenance Manager Patrick Mörk, tel: 010-471 91 50.

We welcome applications including a cover letter, CV, and expected salary level via email to [email protected]
