About the Role

In this role, you are responsible for the daily operations within tools, maintenance, and facilities, which currently consists of thirty employees, including two team coaches and one facilities manager. You are part of the production management team and report to the Production Manager.

Your primary focus is to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Efficiency.

To enable this, you will work more concretely with the following:

• Lead the work within the business area in accordance with the company's set strategies and guidelines, and be responsible for developing the department's overall goals, scorecards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitoring their adherence.
• Personnel responsibility; lead and distribute work, systematic work environment management, competence development and recruitment, active employee engagement, rehabilitation and job adaptation, ongoing documentation, etc.
• Conduct continuous improvement work to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality workflow within your business area.
• As a member of the production management team, you are expected to actively contribute to the development of operations together with other production managers.
• Together with all colleagues at FM Mattsson, further develop collaboration methods and common processes in cross-departmental work.

Merits:

• Post-secondary education with a technical focus.
• Experience in a supervisory role and having completed leadership training.
• Professional experience within production and/or the metal industry and/or good knowledge within the current business area.
• Knowledge and experience within LEAN methodology and learning organizations.
