As an Assistant Caretaker at Leksand Sommarland, you are one of the people ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes in the park. You work practically throughout the day, solving both large and small tasks, from construction projects and repairs to waste management and machine operation. Here you will have the opportunity to drive heavy machinery, enjoy varied work, and contribute to keeping Sommarland in top condition.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and minor construction projects
• Operate heavy machinery and trucks within the area
• Waste management
• Support operations with practical tasks
• Transport materials and equipment between different work sites in the park
• Basic building and area maintenance
• Support other departments as needed
• Guest service

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and likes practical work. You are handy, meticulous, and responsible. You notice what needs to be done and take initiative when something needs fixing. You are positive, eager to work, and function well both in a team and independently. You have previous experience in a similar role and are confident operating larger machines and heavy vehicles. Since the role involves daily communication with both colleagues and guests, you speak fluent Swedish and English. A valid B-driver's license is required.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.

What can we offer?

Working hours vary according to the park's opening hours, so work may take place during the day, evening, and weekends. The employment is a seasonal position at 80-100%, and the summer season runs from June to August. Salary and other terms are according to the collective agreement with Vista-HRF Gröna riksavtalet.

The amusement park Leksand Sommarland in Dalarna is a real adventure for families with children during the summer. Behind the gates awaits a large selection of activities and attractions. Some of our most popular attractions include the Wipeout track in Siljan, Lasertag, high ropes courses for all ages, and of course, our Waterland with temperature-controlled pools and winding water slides. Our 250 summer staff welcome up to 6,000 guests per day.
