Job Responsibilities

The role of Janitor/Maintenance Worker at Domnarvets School involves managing several buildings with large areas. You will collaborate with the janitor in Ornäs. The role requires high flexibility and independence. As a janitor, you play a vital role in ensuring the daily operations of our facilities run smoothly. You provide service to the organization, which includes students, staff, and our premises. You will have significant opportunities to influence how you structure your work based on the needs of the operations.

In your role, you will need to communicate with other entities such as municipal properties, Tunabyggen, Svensk Markservice, postal services, etc.

Qualifications

Basic requirements for the position:

• Knowledge of property issues, physical work environment, and fire safety.
• Very good oral and written skills in Swedish.
• Class B driver's license.

Personal qualities:

You are responsible, meticulous, and social. You have the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. You possess strong skills in structuring and prioritizing your work autonomously. You are someone who considers it a given to go the extra mile and are not afraid of new tasks.

It is important that you can build good relationships in your professional interactions. You should be communicative and convey information clearly, both orally and in writing. Good teamwork skills and a flexible attitude towards work are essential.

Meritorious qualifications:

• High school education, preferably vocational, training in property maintenance, or other practical experience in the field.
• Previous experience as a janitor or experience in practical work or property maintenance.
