Summer Job – Customer Service and Ticket Sales

We are currently looking for a summer employee to assist us during the summer with two different aspects of public transport on Gotland.

The work consists partly of working in the public transport customer service center, and partly of ticket sales and customer service outside the arrival hall at Visby Airport in connection with the airport bus.

Job Responsibilities

Public Transport Customer Service Center

You will assist travelers with questions regarding, among other things, timetables, tickets, routes, stops, and other information related to public transport. The role involves significant customer interaction and requires you to be service-oriented, clear, and meticulous.

Ticket Sales Outside the Arrival Hall at Visby Airport

During Almedal Week, as well as on a few other dates during the summer, you will work outside the arrival hall at Visby Airport selling tickets for the airport bus. You will also assist travelers with information about departures, payment, and how to continue their journey via public transport.

We are looking for someone who

• is service-oriented and enjoys meeting people
• is clear and confident in customer interactions
• is meticulous and responsible
• can handle periods of high tempo
• collaborates easily with drivers, traffic control, and other staff
• can communicate well in Swedish and preferably also in English

Previous experience in customer service, sales, or working with digital systems is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have the right attitude and a welcoming approach.

Duration: Summer job until August 16th, with a possible extension until the end of August.

Location: Public transport customer service center and outside the arrival hall at Visby Airport.

Responsibilities: Customer service, information, and ticket sales.
