Working as a self-care advisor in Gotland is more than just a summer job – it’s an experience.

You step out of work and have a bike ride distance to swimming spots, cobblestone alleys, and sunsets over the Baltic Sea. Working as a self-care advisor at our pharmacies in Gotland means a daily life characterized by variety, responsibility, and breadth, where you meet customers from all over the island with different care needs. During the summer, the number of visitors also increases significantly, creating a dynamic and lively customer flow with both temporary guests and returning regulars. This adds an extra dimension to the work and requires flexibility and teamwork skills. Overall, you get a developing role where you grow in your competence, take responsibility in customer interactions, and help make a real difference – every day.

We are looking for self-care advisors for the following periods:

  • Week 26–33

  • Week 22 – 33

If you can work the entire summer, there is also a possibility for us to potentially assist with accommodation.

Your role

Our self-care advisors always work with care, quality, and the customer’s needs in focus. In your role with us, you contribute to a safe, professional, and welcoming experience for everyone who visits us. In your role, you are responsible for self-care advice and take responsibility for safety and service in every customer interaction.

What you will do with us:
  • Provide professional advice on self-care and create added value in every customer interaction, with care and understanding of people’s different needs.

  • Inform about the correct use of over-the-counter medications.

  • Follow guidelines for safe self-care advice.

  • Contribute to patient safety and quality in everything you do, so that our customers can feel safe with us.

  • Share knowledge and experience with your colleagues – we grow and develop together.

  • Stay updated on our product range and our campaigns, to provide customers with the best possible help.

  • Contribute ideas and initiatives to develop both the workday and the customer experience at our pharmacy.

Who are we looking for?

For this position, you need to be a trained self-care advisor, with a clear interest in people, health, and self-care. We also welcome pharmacy students to apply – either you already have self-care training through your education, have completed Apoteket's internal self-care training, or you want to complete it before the summer work.

  • You have experience working in an outpatient pharmacy.

  • You have experience working with customer interactions.

  • You have a particular interest in self-care.

  • You have a warm and professional approach where you see each customer.

  • You enjoy collaborating and contribute positively to the team.
