About the role

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will work with CRM throughout the customer journey, with a clear focus on writing, tone, and structure in CRM communication. The role combines operational execution with analytical and strategic thinking and involves actively creating, shaping, and directing how communication is built over time.

You will be responsible for writing CRM copy yourself, setting the structure in newsletters and flows, and ensuring that the content is relevant, coherent, and relationship-building. The role acts as the link between content, data, and marketing automation technology, and you will work closely with specialists in content, communication, sales, and customer relations.

Responsibilities
  • Independently write and be responsible for CRM copy (mainly email and SMS), including tone and content structure in newsletters and automated flows

  • Collect, structure, and package content from various internal teams and ensure that communication is consistent and built over time

  • Plan, set up, and optimize personalized and data-driven campaigns and flows in CDP and Yulsn

  • Be responsible for segmentation, triggers, event logic, and rule setting in MA/CDP for email and SMS

  • Further develop lifecycle communication throughout the customer journey (pre-departure, on-destination, welcome back, reactivation)

  • Work insight-driven with A/B testing, analysis, and ongoing optimization of CRM communication

  • Document flows and processes and ensure that CRM work is GDPR compliant

About you

You combine linguistic confidence with analytical ability and thrive in a role where you both create content and work systematically with data and automation. You see CRM as a relational channel and enjoy taking responsibility for how messages, flows, and communication actually work in practice – from idea to follow-up.

Experience and skills

  • Experience in marketing automation and CRM work in customer journeys and email marketing with an understanding of segmentation, customer data, and personalization

  • Strong ability to independently write CRM copy, with a sense for tone, structure, and target audience

  • Knowledge of and experience working with MA tools.

  • Ability to work insight-driven, with A/B testing and campaign analysis

  • Good project management skills and teamwork.

  • Knowledge of GDPR and data quality management

  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

  • Experience from CDP platforms and tools like Yulsn.
