About the job

Verdis is responsible for waste collection in Gotland, with Region Gotland as our client and partner. We now need to strengthen the organization with an engaged and responsive customer service representative who excels in administration and can work during the summer. The position is full-time from June to August.

As a member of Verdis customer service team, you will often be the first point of contact between us and our customers, making you a very important representative for the company and a key part of maintaining and strengthening the Verdis brand.

Your responsibilities mainly consist of receiving and addressing customer inquiries. Administration tasks such as case management in our various systems and providing feedback to colleagues and subscribers are also included in the role. In this position, you will report to the local production manager and be part of a team with two other customer service representatives. The workplace for this position is Visby.

More specifically, your tasks include:

• Answering incoming inquiries regarding general waste management.
• Responding to collection-related questions about accessibility, products, and services.
• Forwarding contacts to the right person or department, both internally and externally.
• Case management via phone, email, and in our business system, EDP.
• Assisting and supporting Verdis environmental workers at collection points when needed.

In addition, you should have at least completed high school and have experience in customer service, preferably from a company in a similar industry. Knowledge of waste management and local knowledge of Gotland is highly meritorious. However, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities in connection with this appointment.

Start: June 2026. Scope: Full-time during June-August. Working hours: As agreed, between approximately 07:30-16:30. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Workplace: Verdis depot in Visby.
