Senior Linux Platform Developer / Platform Developer, Consulting Assignment – Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping, Karlskoga or Lund

In the role of Senior Linux Platform Developer, you will work broadly with the development, integration and further development of platforms and system environments in a technically advanced, product-oriented business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and further develop Linux-based platforms for complex embedded systems
• Work on integration between software, hardware, networking and infrastructure
• Contribute to the automation of build, test and release flows within DevOps and CI/CD
• Work with container-based environments and modern tools for deployment and operations
• Collaborate closely with development teams, architects and other technical functions in a dynamic environment

Your background

We are looking for you who are senior, technically broad and accustomed to working close to the product. You likely have experience in several of the following areas:

• Linux OS and system-level development
• Networking, routing and firewalls
• Infrastructure automation and scripting, e.g., in Python and Bash
• DevOps, CI/CD and automation tools
• Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible
• Security-critical software and robust system environments
• Good understanding of computer architecture and complex technical platforms

It is an advantage if you also have experience in development using languages such as Golang, C# or C++.

As a person, you are communicative, team-oriented and thrive in environments with high tempo, technical complexity and change.

About the assignment
