We are now recruiting 1–3 Support Assistants

We work on behalf of the purchaser unit and provide support to individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and intellectual disabilities who reside in service housing within Haninge Municipality.

Your role as a Support Assistant is guided by the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), where the core principles are self-determination, influence, accessibility, participation, continuity, and a holistic view. The goal is for every individual to receive the support they need to live as independent a life as possible with a good quality of life.

Your Role

Together with other staff members, you work to create a meaningful and rich daily life.

You provide support and guidance in areas such as personal care, meals, medication management, and cleaning in the residents' homes and in the service apartments. You also support social contacts and create conditions for an active and meaningful leisure time.

Your duties also include documentation and the creation of implementation plans.

The service housing facility is staffed 24/7, and you will work on a schedule that includes day and evening shifts, sleeping on-call duties, and every other weekend.

What We Are Looking For

We actively work with digitalization when possible; for example, we offer Wellbee to all residents. We will also have an information screen in the facility displaying daily activities and staffing.

As a Support Assistant, you must therefore be comfortable with digital systems and tools.

We are looking for you who are a positive and secure person with an approach characterized by the equal value of all people. You are inspired by development and thrive in a team working to create good social interaction.

You are flexible and take initiative in your work.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have:

• Relevant education, such as assistant nurse or other equivalent pedagogical education
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills and experience with IBIC
• Experience with clarifying pedagogy
• Experience working in (LSS) Service Housing
• Experience working with mental health issues
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
