About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, your main task will be to help the customer with everyday occurrences and basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely tailored to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is a 22-year-old young man living on Hammarbyterrassen. He is now looking for an assistant who can be by his side full-time on weekdays. Your tasks will involve supporting him in daily life, both at home and during activities.

The customer has a strong interest in going to the cinema, playing online games, and has a particular interest in programming. This autumn, the plan is for him to begin studies in programming. The family also has a dog, which means you will be working in an environment where pets are present.

"I am looking for someone with a positive attitude, good teamwork skills, and a great sense of humor. It is important to me that you respect my daily life and that you are smoke-free during working hours. If you also share my interests in gaming, movies, or perhaps even programming, that would be a big plus!"

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are looking for someone who is calm, patient, and has a strong motivating ability. Since daily life involves both study focus and leisure activities, you need to be able to balance providing drive and energy with maintaining a safe and patient calm when needed.

It is also important that you are engaged, easy to collaborate with, and proactive in seeing what needs to be done. To thrive in this role, it is crucial that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Completely smoke-free during working hours
• Tolerant of dogs (as there is a dog in the home)

Merits for the position:

• Previous experience in similar work as a personal assistant
• Share the customer's interests in online gaming, cinema, or programming/IT

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment percentage of 100% (40 hours/week).

The working hours are fixed and scheduled for weekdays:

• Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Desired start date: 2026-08-10.
