ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Inre Kraft are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Kiruna. Right now, we are looking for 2 assistants for the following positions: 1 full-time (100%) + 1 part-time position.

The working hours are as follows:

• 06:30-15:30

• 15:30-06:30

• 06:30-06:30

Flexibility for the right person: For these positions, there is room for individual schedule adjustments, provided it fits the operations' needs otherwise.

Start date is by agreement, and we would like you to be able to start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a man in his 30s who lives in his own apartment in central Kiruna. During weekdays, he works at Coop and Savo. He has a small assistant group around him, consisting of 4 personal assistants plus his parents. You work alone with the client; it is only when he is traveling that two assistants work with him simultaneously.

This is a happy and positive man. He enjoys carrying firewood, building with Lego, baking, walking in the forest and in town, boating and snowmobiling, listening to music, going to the cinema/concerts, eating at restaurants, staying in the cabin, traveling with the motorhome, bowling, swimming, going to the gym, staying at hotels, and much more. He has his own car which you as an assistant drive. Therefore, it is desirable that you have a driver's license, but it is not a requirement as the client has been granted transport service.

Our client needs your help as an assistant in his daily life as he has autism and is blind.

Even though he can do a lot already, he has a curiosity and desire to continue developing and learning new things. Therefore, it is very important that you can manage to work "with your hands behind your back" and avoid taking over tasks he can do, or wants to learn to do!

The duties include:

• Support and guide in daily routines, such as household chores and activities

• Assist and guide in personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

Since he cannot see, his surroundings use verbal communication and symbols to guide him correctly. Therefore, it is required that you as an assistant have very good knowledge of the Swedish language.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

A large part of your work involves helping and guiding the client in everyday situations and in social interactions with others, as well as helping the client understand his surroundings. You should be good at reading and analyzing other individuals' needs and situations. We see it as an advantage if you have previous experience with autism.

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language

• Driver's license, so you can drive the client's car

Employment level: 1 full-time (100%) + 1 part-time position.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both certificates from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The certificate is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be made in good time.
