Personal assistance is an intervention under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Certain Functionally Disabled). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. We prefer female applicants for this position, but personal suitability will be given great weight.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Willing to work for a woman in her 40s living in Söderköping

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Hold a Category B driver's license and have access to your own car, as this is required to commute to the workplace

• Tolerant of pets, as there is a cat in the home

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience in similar work, specifically experience with transfers/moving patients

Working hours, employment degree, and salary:

The current form of employment is "hourly temporary work" with work on demand. Working hours are scheduled from 06:30–22:00 and 22:00–06:30, with awake nights.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other compensations are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or according to agreement.
