We are now looking for a Care Assistant at Villa Vikhem for a day/evening position. We offer training and several benefits.

About Villa Vikhem
Villa Vikhem is a residence located in the Vikhem area of Staffanstorp. The unit consists of three floors with two departments per floor. There are 40 places for special housing and 20 places for short-term/rotating care. At Villa Vikhem, we focus on training and animals. We have opportunities for training both indoors and outdoors. Those living in special housing have the opportunity to move in with their pets. We also collaborate with external actors and place great emphasis on ensuring that those living with us experience a meaningful everyday life, which may consist of organized activities or time with their contact person.

• We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to add extra value to the lives of our residents.

• You have a group leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operations. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a care assistant.

• Here we work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy dogs.

As a care assistant, you are incredibly important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to interact with people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We would like you to be a trained care assistant and have worked a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
