NHC is looking for Sewers/Tailors in Upplands Väsby

NHC is a leading player in technical textiles with operations throughout Europe and customers across large parts of the world. The company develops and manufactures among other things tarps, tents, halls, canopies, and custom-made solutions for customers with high demands on quality, function, and sustainability. For NHC, we are now looking for sewers/tailors for the operations in Upplands Väsby.

About the role

In this role, you will become an important part of the production where the focus is on quality, efficiency, and collaboration. The work involves sewing and assembly of products within technical textiles, primarily for the defense industry. You will work based on drawings and instructions at your own workstation where materials and components are prepared for each step.

The products vary in size and complexity, creating a varied workday with both smaller and larger projects. The work requires precision, responsibility, and the ability to work at a high pace without compromising on quality.

Previous experience in sewing or work in manufacturing industry is meritorious but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have the right attitude, practical skills, and the willingness to learn. Training takes place internally where you are gradually introduced to the work and the company's products.

The position starts with employment via Uniflex during the first three months. Provided that the cooperation works well, there are good opportunities for continued employment and takeover by NHC.

Working hours:

• Day shift: 07.00–16.00
• Evening shift: 16.00–00.55, Monday–Thursday
