Do you have ideas for the future and are you driven by challenges? In Haninge, you will develop alongside secure colleagues who want to make a difference today. Right now, one of the most ambitious change processes in our municipality's history is underway. We are building a new city, approximately 20 minutes from the South. Join us on our journey.
Welcome to develop with us
Haninge Municipality is a forward-thinking municipality. In 2023, we were among the first municipalities to establish a first and second-line social services structure, a step in our adaptation to the future of social services and the new Social Services Act. In our operations, we meet children who need coordinated and comprehensive interventions preceded by application and investigation. In our work, we focus on the target group, investigating and coordinating interventions based on evidence and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other societal actors.
The operation consists of four units: a child unit, a youth unit, a unit for interventions and special functions, and a unit for foster care and contact activities. There are three groups within child investigation, two groups within youth, and one intervention group, as well as intensive investigation, foster care/contact activities, family therapy/parental support, as well as administrative tasks and other support functions. Each unit is led by a unit manager, and the operation as a whole by an area manager. We work in a family-oriented and team-based manner based on the target groups.
Those of us who work here are knowledgeable and engaged in our work, and we care about each other and having a good atmosphere in the groups. We want our work to be characterized by consensus, quality, and legal certainty, and we believe it is important to develop in our work.
We are now looking for a social secretary for the group working with young people at risk of crime, who, together with us, want to be challenged and be part of our exciting development.
Your assignment

We work in close collaboration with the young person, their network, school, and police. The work is carried out with support from BBIC, SAVRY, and Signs of Safety. The work includes close collaboration with internal and external partners.
The group, Young People at Risk of Crime, has existed since 2019, and the case workers have good experience in social work and with the target group. The work requires adaptability as both work methods and approaches develop in tandem with new laws and regulations or new research being released.
Your qualifications
- Social Work degree (Social Worker)
- Experience, at least one year, of work within the authority function of social services, in the field of children and young people aged 0–17
- Ability to organize, plan, and coordinate work
- Correct Swedish in speech and writing
- Knowledge of BBIC and Signs of Safety. Training in SAVRY/Earl is meritorious

Your competencies
As a social secretary with us, it is natural that you enjoy collaborating with others but also that you can work independently.
- You easily create good relationships and are clear in your communication.
- You have good knowledge of relevant legislation, child development, and keep up with current research.
- You have the ability to limit your assignment and work calmly and methodically when others around you are stressed.
We are looking for someone who can see the possibilities in complex social work, is good at collaborating, is flexible, curious, and has the child's best interest at the forefront. It is also important that you enjoy developing the work together with colleagues and management.
We consider it natural that you are responsible, have integrity, and believe that quality is important.
What we can offer you
An engaging and challenging development-oriented job, together with knowledgeable colleagues and experienced managers. Before you start with us, we have planned your introduction, and you will receive an introduction plan and a mentor at the unit.
