Your Role

As an operator of manually controlled machines, you play a vital role in our production by performing work with high precision. Your tasks include careful and efficient processing, where you independently work with fixturing and measurement of components. You will also collaborate with others to ensure that all components meet the set requirements. The work is varied and diverse, giving you the opportunity to develop within different aspects of precision machining.

Your Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who is meticulous and strives to meet established requirements and goals. Since the work is largely independent, we believe you are self-motivated and capable of taking ownership. We also believe you are a problem solver with strong analytical skills, are receptive, and have good collaboration skills.

We are looking for someone with experience in cutting tools and good knowledge of setups and measurements. You should also have a good understanding of reading drawings, as well as form and position. Experience with conventional machines, as well as knowledge of measuring technology and various materials, is considered an asset.

Other requirements for the position:

• At least 5 years of workshop experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills and experience with ERP/Sharp
• Completed upper secondary education, with a preference for industrial technology.

The work hours are during the day, and the location is Tannefors, Linköping.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
