Senior Production Engineer | Jefferson Wells | Västerås

Do you want to help develop the future of automated production? Jefferson Wells is now looking for a Senior Production Engineer for an exciting consulting assignment in Västerås.

As a Senior Production Engineer, you will become a central part of the operations and report to the Head of Production Technology Assembly. You are responsible for driving the development of processes and methods within the assembly area, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety. You actively contribute to ensuring that the business achieves its goals within:

• Health & Safety
• Quality
• Delivery Precision

Through problem-solving, analysis, and the implementation of the right support and equipment, you create the prerequisites for efficient and sustainable production.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize assembly processes and work methods
• Create and update work instructions and PFMEA
• Ensure that the right tools and equipment are available at the right station
• Work closely with line technicians, operators, and support functions in daily operations
• Participate in and contribute to weekly follow-up meetings regarding activities and priorities
• Support the business with problem-solving and improvement work

Your Profile

We are looking for you who is an experienced and driven production engineer with the ability to turn theory into practical improvements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a production engineer, preferably in assembly production
• University degree in production technology, supply chain, or similar
• Good knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience in developing assembly factories or production lines
• Good knowledge of Lean Production and World Class Manufacturing is an advantage
