We are looking for a meticulous and driven CNC operator for our client in Uppsala. In this role, you will work with CNC machines to process metal and parts according to drawings and work instructions. You will become part of a production team and contribute to high quality, delivery precision, and safe working routines.

• Location: Uppsala

• Duration: Start this summer with an end date of 2026-12-31, with the possibility of extension with the client

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment

• Scope: Full-time, on-site

You will belong to the Additive Engineering section, where the team runs a prototype workshop supporting the company's development projects. In the workshop, mechanical details are manufactured in small series and assembled into prototypes. The workshop is very well-equipped and consists of a modern machine park with CNC milling machines, lathes, sheet metal bending, water jet cutting, injection molding, and laser welding. The work is carried out to a large extent independently, with the team jointly distributing tasks.

In this role, you will work primarily operationally in production, but may also handle administrative tasks. In addition to operating and setting up machines, there may be opportunities for increased responsibility in driving common issues in the workshop, such as EHS work, purchasing, and investments. The role involves great freedom under responsibility and suits you if you thrive in an environment where you can influence and contribute to the development of working methods and operations.

• Trained workshop engineer (Mechanical Engineer)

• Over 7 years of experience programming and operating CNC machines such as milling/turning

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Experience with Gibbs CAM

• Experience in manufacturing fine mechanical parts

• Experience from instrument development

• Experience working with Solidworks
