The Department of Health, Learning and Technology offers education at undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels. The department provides education for nurses, radiographers, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, as well as bachelor's degrees in health guidance and psychology. Research and doctoral education are conducted within the departments of occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nursing, and psychology.

The Department of Nursing and Radiography is now seeking a University Lecturer with a specialization in nursing, who can teach on the Nursing Programme, the Radiographer Programme, and the Specialist Nurse education programmes.

Subject Description

Nursing focuses on areas aimed at improving people's health, preventing illness and disease, as well as restoring and preserving health, alleviating suffering, and safeguarding human integrity and dignity. Central areas include the human and health, environment, and nursing actions and processes related to these areas.

Responsibilities

The position of University Lecturer at the Department of Nursing and Radiography involves course responsibility, teaching, supervising, assessing students during clinical placements (VFU), and examining students at undergraduate and advanced levels. Teaching may consist of lectures, laboratory work, simulations, and seminars. You will meet students both on campus and via online platforms.

Qualifications

Eligible for appointment as a University Lecturer is someone who:

• is a licensed nurse
• has experience of clinical work within healthcare
• has good ability to express themselves orally and in writing in Swedish and English
• demonstrates pedagogical skill

Other merit-based qualifications:

• experience from different care contexts and specialist areas within nursing
• experience of teaching, development, or quality work within healthcare
• good teamwork skills and ability to work independently
