Lotus Hotel Group is now looking for a committed salesperson based in Gothenburg. All four of our hotels have their own unique history and character. What they have in common is that we offer our guests everything from large events, conferences, trade fairs, and weddings, as well as experiences with spa, food, activities, and nature – for both corporate and private travelers.

We are now looking for you who want to help drive the development of the hotel group forward, build relationships, create business, and put Lotus Hotel Group on the map as one of Sweden's premier facilities for meetings, events, and conferences. You will become part of a wonderful team and an engaged company under constant development.

About the role:

As a salesperson, you represent and sell our four hotel destinations within Lotus Hotel Group. This includes seeking out and building relationships with both new and existing customers. Arken is your starting point, and you are expected to visit customers several days a week within and outside the region. You will:

• Drive sales to companies – clarify the opportunities, capacity, and service of our facilities, the added value we offer, and how we create the best meeting arrangements ever.
• Develop contracts and relationships – sign contracts for larger corporate clients, private companies, and the public sector, building long-term collaborations and trust through personal service.
• Create new business opportunities – work proactively to secure more and better business. We are not afraid of change, and active work with new thoughts, ideas, and development is warmly welcomed.
• Collaborate closely with the team – execution is a team effort, and you work closely with hotel management and operations to ensure the best possible delivery to the guest. You work against clear budgets and goals with continuous reporting to hotel management. Through your proactive sales efforts, together with inside sales colleagues in our meeting departments, you create a strong team for successful sales and execution, primarily for meetings and business travel.

Who are you?

• We are looking for you who are an experienced salesperson, preferably with experience from hotels, experiences, congresses, and events.
• You have great drive, will, and energy to succeed!
• At the same time, you are a team player with high social competence.
• You work systematically, purposefully, and result-oriented.
• That sales and service go hand in hand is obvious to you, and you are receptive and build long-term relationships.
• You are outgoing, innovative, and solution-oriented, and love creating contact with potential customers via phone and email as well as physical meetings.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English.

Meritorious:

• You have experience from a similar position, preferably within congress, experiences, hotels, or another destination.
