Job Description

The Role

We are currently looking for a new team member at our station in Umeå-Teg! As an inspection technician at Opus Bilprovning, you will take on a meaningful role contributing to road safety and the "Vision Zero" initiative. Your primary task will be to inspect vehicles to ensure they meet high safety and environmental standards.

The work is varied and requires both independence and teamwork. You will interact with customers daily, ensuring they receive a safe, professional, and personal experience. Through clear communication and dedicated service, you will build long-term trust, whether dealing with private individuals or corporate clients.

We offer paid training and certification, so prior experience in vehicle inspection is not required, but a genuine interest in vehicles and technology is essential. You will work according to a structured schedule with extended opening hours, providing a good balance between work and leisure.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in vehicles and technology. A formal automotive technical education is not required, but relevant knowledge or experience from vehicle service, repairs, or inspections is advantageous.

You thrive in a service-oriented role and are comfortable communicating clearly and pleasantly. For us, it is important that you are meticulous, responsible, solution-oriented, and have a positive attitude towards your work and colleagues.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Interest in vehicles and technology (formal education not required, but experience/knowledge is a plus).
• Category B driver's license (not restricted to automatic transmission).
• Basic computer/data skills.
• Advantageous: Vehicle inspection certificate (K1), Category A/C/CE/D licenses, and language skills in addition to Swedish and English.
