WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for you who want to work as a Fire Inspector/Technician at the Rescue Service in Storuman. You will be part of an operational readiness role. The assignment involves dynamic work. Storuman is a small municipality, which contributes to flexible tasks. You will handle environmental monitoring and implement new ways of working and methods for the Rescue Service's goal achievement in the area.

Other Duties

• Exercise planning, education, supervision, and material procurement.
• Advising and informing the general public.
• Maintenance of the operation's vehicles and material procurement.
• Handling IT systems. (Pagers, alarms, Rakel, WMA, Daedalos, etc.)
• Responsibility for the operation's protective equipment (breathing apparatus, fall protection, personal equipment, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements: Driver's license B and C. Trained firefighter. Approved fitness certificate for work within the rescue service and living within 5 minutes from the main station in Storuman. You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You are good at listening and adapting to communicate so that your messages reach the right people in the right way, both to private individuals and authorities. You have a structured approach and the ability to see the big picture. You organize your work tasks independently and ensure that cases move forward. You have knowledge of technical aids related to the rescue service's operations (Rakel/Daedalos/Office365, etc.).

Meritorious: Command training. Other education related to the rescue service's operations.

A position at the Rescue Service may involve placement in a security class. A security check with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. With employment, you will be mobilized to the Rescue Service in Storuman. We view local anchoring positively. Depending on your background and personality, we can adapt the scope and focus of the position.
