About the role

Coromatic develops and delivers solutions that ensure critical societal functions – such as hospitals, emergency services, data halls, and infrastructure – operate without interruption, 24/7. We are now looking for a Junior Project Manager to join the team in Halmstad.

As a Junior Project Manager, you will support more experienced Project Managers in the execution of technically advanced projects within emergency power and critical infrastructure. The role gives you a broad insight into project management and the opportunity to gradually take on greater responsibility as you develop in the role.

In Halmstad, customized emergency power and energy systems for critical infrastructure are manufactured. The solutions include, among other things, emergency power plants (generators and UPS systems), power distribution and control systems, as well as control and monitoring solutions. Everything is integrated into complete holistic deliveries that are built, tested, and finalized in the factory before installation and commissioning at the customer site.

You will become part of a well-functioning and cohesive team where people support each other, share knowledge, and drive projects forward together. In Halmstad, Project Managers, Project Administrators, designers, technical specialists, and production staff work closely together, giving you excellent opportunities to develop and learn from experienced colleagues.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Supporting Project Managers in daily project management.
• Creating and updating schedules and delivery plans.
• Monitoring project economics such as costs, forecasts, and invoicing.
• Coordinating between the project team, production/factory, and suppliers.
• Ensuring that project administration and documentation are up to date.
• Participating in project meetings, assisting with purchasing and material planning.
• Supporting the planning of installations and deliveries.
• Handling some customer contact and internal communication.
• Contributing to structure and efficiency in project execution.

In the long term, there is an opportunity to take on greater responsibility and gradually develop into an independent Project Manager. The position is based at Coromatic's office and factory in Halmstad, and you report to the Project Director.

Are you the right person?

We are looking for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop within project management of technical solutions. You may be a newly graduated engineer or have a few years of experience from a technical, industrial, or project-oriented business, and feel ready to take the next step. To thrive in the role, you have a strong interest in technology and appreciate working in an environment where you can combine structure, collaboration, and problem-solving in your daily work.

We prefer that you have post-secondary education in engineering, such as electrical power, construction, industry, or similar, or alternatively another relevant technical background. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A B-class driver's license is required.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, and able to handle multiple tasks in parallel. You are curious, unpretentious, and enjoy collaborating with others. Furthermore, you have drive and a desire to develop long-term together with the team and the business. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is humble, helpful, and has a strong will to learn and develop.
