About the Client

Our client is an established consultancy firm offering qualified consulting services to clients and purchasers within the construction industry. Services include project and design management, construction management, control responsibility, contract inspection, construction costing, technical building descriptions, environmental management, and information services.

The company is well-established with a strong local presence in West Sweden. It is led by a CEO together with area managers who form the company's management group.

About the Role of Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for handling construction projects in a planned and structured manner, based on the client's intentions. You lead the projects, establish guidelines for implementation, ensure the team is formed, set objectives, and realize the client's requirements. You have access to colleagues with expertise in construction economics, environment, procurement, contract inspection, and technical descriptions.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Design management
• Construction management
• Leading investigations and program work
• Procurement
• Economic control
• Quality and environmental management
• Contacts with clients, users, suppliers, and authorities
• Control responsibility according to PBL (Planning and Building Act)
• Inspection

The role may involve focusing on one or several of the above tasks, or developing within a specific area.

The position is located at the client's office in the Halland region.

We are looking for you who:

• Have 5–8 years of practical background in project and construction management within residential building, or alternatively as a project/contracting engineer.
• Have experience in contract law and LOU (Public Procurement Act) – this is essential.
• Are organized and structured with a strong customer focus and social competence.

You understand projects with high technical complexity and have the capacity to drive construction processes by:

• Seeing the big picture
• Directing and leading
• Scheduling
• Being proactive/foreseeing

A significant part of the role involves handling and creating documents, so good written Swedish is a requirement. Our client values knowledge sharing, so you should be open to transferring your experiences and knowledge from projects to the organization and be a team player.

It is an advantage if you have your own network and customer base, allowing you to contribute to broadening the client's customer base.

A B driver's license and access to a car are required.
