About the Client

Our client is an established consultancy firm offering qualified consulting services to clients and purchasers within the construction industry. Services include project and design management, construction management, supervision responsibility, contract inspection, construction costing, technical descriptions, environmental management, and information services.

The company has a strong local presence in West Sweden and is led by a CEO together with area managers in the company's management group.

About the Project Manager Role

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for handling construction projects in a planned and structured manner, based on the client's intentions. You lead the projects, set guidelines for implementation, ensure the team is formed, objectives are defined, and the client's wishes are realized. You have access to colleagues with expertise in construction economics, environment, procurement, contract inspection, and technical descriptions as support.

Your duties may include:

• Design management
• Construction management
• Leading investigations and program work
• Procurement
• Economic control
• Quality and environmental management
• Contact with customers, users, suppliers, and authorities
• Supervision responsibility according to PBL (Planning and Building Act)
• Inspection

You may choose to work with specific parts, multiple areas, or develop within specific fields. The position is located at the client's office in the Halland region.

We are looking for you who:

• Have 5–8 years of practical experience in project and construction management within residential construction, or as a project/contracting engineer.
• Have experience with contract law and LOU (Public Procurement Act) – this is essential.
• Are organized, structured, customer-focused, and possess strong social skills.

You understand projects with high technical complexity and have the capacity to drive construction processes by:

• Seeing the big picture
• Steering and leading
• Planning time
• Being proactive/foreseeing

Good written Swedish is a requirement as handling and creating documents is a key part of the role. Our client values knowledge sharing, so you should be open to sharing your experiences and be a team player within the organization.

Having your own network and customer base is an advantage, as it helps broaden the customer base.

A valid B-driver's license and access to a car are required.
