About the client

Our client is a consultancy firm offering qualified consulting services to developers and clients within the construction industry. Examples of services include project management, design management, construction management, control responsibility, contract inspection, construction costing, technical building descriptions, environmental management, and information services.

The company is well-established and has a strong local presence in West Sweden. The company is led by a CEO who, together with area managers, forms the company's management team.

About the Project Manager role

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that construction projects are handled in a planned and structured manner based on the client's intentions. You lead the projects and establish guidelines for implementation where the team is formed, the target image is established, and the client's wishes are realized. Resources can be drawn from colleagues who can contribute expertise in construction economics, environment, procurement, contract inspection, and technical descriptions.

As a Project Manager, your tasks may include:

• Design management
• Construction management
• Leading investigations and program work
• Procurement
• Economic control
• Quality and environmental control
• Contact with customers, users, suppliers, and authorities
• Control responsibility according to the Planning and Building Act (PBL)
• Inspection

Perhaps you want to work with just some or several of the above tasks, or develop within one of them.

The position is located at the client's office in the Halland region.

We are looking for you who:

• Have 5-8 years of practical background in project and construction management within house construction, or alternatively as a project/contracting engineer.
• Have experience in contract law and LOU (Public Procurement Act) is essential.
• Are organized and structured with a strong customer focus and social competence.

You have an understanding of projects with high technical complexity and have the capacity to drive construction processes regarding:

• seeing the big picture
• managing and leading
• time planning
• being proactive

An important part of the role also involves handling and creating documentation, which is why good Swedish, especially in writing, is a requirement. Our client believes in the benefit of knowledge transfer between employees. Therefore, you should be open to feeding back your experiences and knowledge from projects to the organization and be a team player within the company.

It is meritorious if you have your own network and customer base, so that you can both benefit from their existing customers and contribute to broadening their customer base.

You must have a B driving license and access to a car.
