We are the largest conference and event operator in Alingsås and the surrounding area, with an arena that accommodates up to 1,500 people, as well as several smaller rooms for customized setups.

Job Description

We are looking for 1–2 caretakers (facility managers) for Estrad i Alingsås AB to support our autumn productions. The assignment is on an as-needed basis, starting in August/September.

In this role, you work closely with the operations during events and productions. You are responsible for ensuring the premises function as intended and serve as a key contact person on-site – both for organizers and other stakeholders. This role involves more than just traditional caretaker duties; it also requires good knowledge of the building and the ability to take greater responsibility when needed.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the setup and execution of events
• Guiding external parties during larger productions (e.g., stage construction)
• Serving as a contact person and meeting organizers on-site
• Ensuring functionality in the premises (e.g., water, loading areas, spaces)
• Performing ongoing building maintenance
• Standard building maintenance both indoors and outdoors (everything from weeding to changing light bulbs)

Working hours are flexible and include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is practical, responsible, and thrives in a role with frequent human interaction.

Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, early mornings)
• Strong service orientation and professional attitude
• Practical mindset with good technical understanding (handy and experienced with simpler technical/building-related tasks)
• Ability to take initiative and lead work on-site when necessary

Merits:

• Experience in caretaking, building maintenance, or similar work
• Good knowledge of buildings and technical functions
• Experience working in event or stage environments
