Operations Mechanic at Nordkalk in Köping

The role involves monitoring crushing and fractioning, as well as slaking and limestone grinding. The job also includes maintenance work, so a background in this area is highly meritorious.

At the Köping facility, we have approximately 20 employees in Production and Maintenance.

Production runs 24/7, seven days a week, which means we operate with continuous shift work. This applies to this position as well.

We are looking for you who have previous experience from similar work, for example from the process industry, and have good knowledge of maintenance work. You will have the opportunity for internal training.

The work is carried out independently, which means that great importance is placed on initiative and personal responsibility. We would like you to be meticulous, able to work independently, and focused on teamwork. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

Tasks included in the role:

• Carry out maintenance work.
• Report production data, time, and spare parts on given work orders in our maintenance system (IFS UH module).
• Work according to 5S principles at the factory.
• Follow instructions and regulations.
• Take care of your own and others' safety, intervene in dangerous activities, and report faults and deficiencies.
• Use machines, equipment, and tools correctly.
• Correctly use personal protective equipment and safety devices.
• Report risks and dangerous situations.
• Drive wheel loaders.

Qualifications:

You should perform corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance on the factory's production equipment in a professional manner, such as bearing replacements, welding work, etc. Experience in driving wheel loaders is meritorious.

The position is fixed-term until 2026-12-31 with a chance of extension.
