Within Saab, we are now looking for a versatile and electronics-interested person to join our Test Development section in Arboga!

Your Role

As an Electronics Technician with us, you will work on manufacturing various electrical prototype equipment for both internal and external customers. You will have a varied work environment where both electrical and mechanical components are assembled.

In this role, you will work with:

• Manufacturing and adapting cables
• Soldering and assembling circuit boards
• Assembling simple mechanical fixtures
• Testing and troubleshooting prototypes
• Assembling electronic components in various electronic products
• Inspection and final testing of electronic products

Travel within Sweden may occur in this role.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have good cooperation skills, are meticulous in your execution, and have a strong desire to always contribute your best to achieve production goals. As a person, you are outgoing and a social team player who enjoys working in a group. You have a high work ethic, are responsible, and quality-conscious. You are accustomed to taking initiative and can work independently towards set goals and deadlines.

Experience in electrical and electronics assembly is advantageous, as is technical education (e.g., previous work in the machine industry, manufacturing industry, or prototype manufacturing).

To succeed in the role, it is advantageous if you have:

• Experience with soldering (surface mount and through-hole)
• Knowledge of electronics and schematic reading
• Experience working with cable manufacturing
• Ability to handle simple mechanical assemblies
• Knowledge of cable assembly and trimming
• A meticulous and structured approach to work

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
