What can we offer you?

As a qualified case handler, you will be part of the administration department with specific responsibility for school transport, while also participating in processes related to school choice, working environment, crisis management, and preparedness. This offers an exciting and varied assignment within public administration. As the traffic coordinator, you play a central role in ensuring that students receive a safe, fair, and well-functioning school transport service. You handle applications and make decisions regarding the right to school transport based on the Education Act and the municipality's guidelines. The role also involves planning and optimizing school transport routes in the planning system Skjuts+, where you collaborate with other stakeholders to develop and streamline operations.

The assignment also includes preparing documentation for the procurement of school transport services and informing about regulations and guidelines, both internally within the organization and externally to guardians and other operations.

You will participate in various processes within the administration and collaborate continuously with both internal and external functions, such as lawyers, economists, and other case handlers. The role is characterized by variety and offers the opportunity to work both independently and in close collaboration with others.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a university degree in public administration, social sciences, or other education/experience considered equivalent. You have strong analytical and linguistic skills, as well as knowledge of relevant legislation and municipal operations. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are meticulous and structured with a good sense of order. You take responsibility for your work, are proactive, and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You plan, organize, and drive your tasks efficiently and contribute to good teamwork. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
