You will step into an important change project within municipal social services, where finance, structure, and governance need to be strengthened to provide better control and clearer decision-making foundations. The assignment involves assessing the current situation, correcting financial structures, and building working methods that function both in daily operations and in the long term.

You will work closely with the operations team and become a key person in creating order in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up. The role is broad, spanning from operational improvement work to support in governance issues between the authority and the service provider. This is a role for you who want to combine analysis with execution and make a concrete difference in a socially vital operation.

• You ensure the quality of the financial structure by identifying and correcting incorrect postings and other financial items.
• You establish and embed a functioning process for budgeting, ongoing forecasting, and monthly follow-up.
• You develop uniform budget and follow-up templates that support managers in monitoring finances, identifying deviations, and implementing measures.
• You work closely with operational managers and unit managers, providing analytical support, decision-making materials, models, and working methods that strengthen their financial responsibility.
• You analyze and develop resource allocation models and clarify how purchasing and sales systems between the authority and the service provider should function in practice.
• You contribute proposals for organization, roles, and working methods that ensure the structures can continue without external support.
• You merge budget structures from two committees into a common structure with comparability, traceability, and support for the new distribution of responsibilities.
• You ensure that financial models, budget structures, and follow-up processes are adapted to the new organizational chart and coordinated with relevant systems and projects.

• At least 4 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
• At least 4 years of experience as an economist, controller, and/or finance manager.
• Documented experience in creating financial structure in close collaboration with public operations.
• Documented experience in implementing budget and forecasting processes.
• Documented experience with resource allocation models.
• Strong operational capability.
• High pedagogical and communicative skills.
