Do you want to work supporting people with disabilities in the municipality's operations within LSS (Law on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) or in Personal Assistance?

Timrå Municipality is looking for you who want to work as a substitute in one of our operations this summer. We are primarily looking for you who want a scheduled shift with planned working hours, but also for you who want to be an "on-call" substitute. We see it as an advantage if you can start an introduction period already during the spring.

In all our operations, your tasks include among other things:

Care can include tasks such as:

• Hygiene and support during toilet visits
• Dressing
• Cleaning and laundry
• Meal preparation/feeding

Delegated tasks you may perform:

• Medication handover
• Insulin administration
• Wound care
• Catheter care

Functional Support

In functional support, shifts are day, evening, weekend, or 24-hour shifts with overnight on-call duty.

In a group or service housing, people with various types of disabilities live. Your tasks are also determined here by the individual's needs and wishes. Common tasks can include planning and facilitating leisure activities or supporting contact with family or a legal guardian. The work is sometimes done together with colleagues, but individual work also occurs.

Personal Assistance

In Timrå Municipality, we also have a few assignments within personal assistance, where you base your work on the user's individual needs and wishes and follow them in their daily life. You will be a significant part of the person's well-being, and therefore, we are looking for you who are secure, stable, and have a great commitment to working with people.

To work within functional support, delegation for medication handover is a requirement.

Summer bonus, travel compensation, and wellness allowance

Conditions for summer bonus of SEK 6,000.

• You must work continuously for eight weeks during one of these periods; which period it will be is decided based on the operation's needs. Week 23–30, week 24–31, week 25–32, or week 26–33.
• You may have a maximum of one instance of sick leave for up to five days.
• You must also work equivalent to at least 75% during these eight weeks.

Travel Compensation

A travel allowance of SEK 50 is paid for each working day performed, provided you have worked 10 shifts or more during an eight-week period.

You also receive a wellness allowance.

Qualifications and Recruitment Process

We are looking for you who are responsible, responsive, have a pleasant manner, and find it easy to collaborate. You also need to have a desire to make the day as good as possible for the users through your work.

Education in healthcare and/or previous experience from work in healthcare and social care is meritorious.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement as the work requires oral and written reporting in our journal system as well as communication with users and colleagues in the team. A language test may occur.

For reference checks, you need to provide a previous manager or supervisor that you have/had.

• We check citizenship and ID. If you are not a citizen of Sweden or another country in the EU/EEA or Switzerland, you need to show that you have residence and work permits. You also need to have a valid Swedish ID document.
• Bring grades and diplomas. If you are trained as a nurse aide, we want to see proof of the protected professional title.
• To make employment possible, you need to present a valid extract from the criminal record register. Order via the police website, "Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities". If your extract is without remarks, you will receive it via Kivra. If you have any remarks in the register, you will receive it in an envelope that must be submitted unopened to us and it must not be older than two months.
