Responsibilities

As a Planning Nurse, you play a central role in the patient's continued care within the municipality. You actively participate in the planning process already during the transition from inpatient care to municipal care, working in a team together with, among others, the municipality's rehabilitation professionals, the region's fixed care contact, and the patient themselves. With your medical competence, you contribute to creating safe and sustainable solutions that add value for the patient. In this role, you supervise staff and students, provide support and advice to patients and relatives, and work patient-centredly together with colleagues to promote good and close care.

Qualifications

  • You are a registered nurse, preferably with experience in the field.
  • Valid driver's license, category B.

The following are considered meritorious:

  • Supervisor training.
  • Further education, for example as a district nurse or within elderly care.

Approximately 2,500 employees work in the Welfare Administration. As part of the interview process, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Approved documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license + personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency, or another ID document that strengthens citizenship. For some positions, extracts from the police's suspicion and criminal record register are required. We appreciate knowledge of Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties, as the Municipality of Örnsköldsvik is included in both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

In our municipality, a number of positions are classified for security reasons, so security clearance may be required. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
