Are you a nurse or district nurse and curious about working in Örnsköldsvik Municipality? You are warmly welcome to apply. We are currently looking for two nurses: one for special housing and one for home healthcare.

Responsibilities

As a nurse, you are responsible for both specific and general care. You work together with nursing colleagues in an area where you jointly plan your shared tasks. You will have a central role in the team, working closely with other professional groups (other nurses, EC, basic staff, doctors, AT, FT, dietitians) with the patient at the center. Through your medical knowledge, we expect you to find solutions that create security and added value for the patient.

You mentor staff and students, and provide support and advice to relatives. Together with colleagues and other professions, you work to create meaning for the patient.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse or district nurse and preferably have experience within the field. It is an advantage if you have completed mentoring education or other advanced training in elderly care or psychiatry.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but also sees themselves as part of a team. You should have a strong commitment, a positive attitude towards development, and be attracted to situations involving innovation and creativity.

A valid driver's license (category B) is required.

During the interview process, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents include a passport, international ID card, driver's license plus a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency, or another ID document that strengthens proof of citizenship. For some positions, extracts from the police's suspicion and criminal record registers are required. We appreciate knowledge of Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties, as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.

Several positions in our municipality are classified for security reasons, which may require a security clearance. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
