About the operations

Matfors Health Centre is part of the healthcare area Sundsvall/Ånge. In addition to Matfors, this includes Liden, Granlo, Stöde and Ånge health centres, with which we have continuous cooperation. Our health centre has approximately 6,700 patients, and in the area there are 4 SÄBO units (specialized housing for elderly people with care needs) and, of course, home care services which we are responsible for. At our health centre, we are a fantastic team of 26 employees, and all professional categories required at a health centre are staffed. We are now looking for a substitute who can help us remain fully staffed.

We are located in a rural setting in beautiful nature, but not far from Sundsvall. If you live in Sundsvall, there are good transport connections by bus, and a bus stop is just a stone's throw from our entrance. We are a close-knit team that knows our patients well and has a cozy, family-like atmosphere that is contagious. If you want to become part of that team, then you are the one we are looking for.

At our centre, the patient is at the heart of everything we do, as it should be. As a District Nurse/Registered Nurse with us, you should be driven by quality in your work and be a good collaborator among your colleagues. We place great emphasis on patient interaction and work extensively with care at the appropriate level to follow the development of healthcare. As a substitute with us, the introduction will be planned based on your previous experience. The doors of your colleagues are always open for questions, including among current staff. You never stop learning!

The position is a full-time temporary assignment with a start date of 2026-09-01 or as agreed, until 2027-03-02. There is a possibility of extension or permanent employment.

Job Responsibilities

At our centre, your duties will be the usual tasks for a Registered Nurse/District Nurse. These include, among others:

• Performing dressing changes, injections, and infusions
• Working at a minor emergency/assessment clinic
• Telephone advice

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed Registered Nurse or District Nurse
• Have Swedish language skills in speech and writing at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale
• Have a B driving licence for manual transmission

It is an advantage if you:

• Have education in cardiology
• Have work experience in primary care
