About the job

The assignment involves varied tasks for a District Nurse at the health centre, such as telephone advice, booking appointments, assessment and triage, as well as patient reception.

We have a senior clinic for those aged 75 or older. There we offer daily telephone hours, advice and support regarding health, review of medications, and other matters concerning the health of the elderly. Here you work in close collaboration with our district doctors. The health centre also has specialist clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, urology, and lifestyle. Depending on your qualifications and interests, there is an opportunity to work with the specialist clinics and the senior clinic.

Working hours are during the day Monday - Friday, and every fourth weekend.

About the workplace

Central Health Centre Laholm has approximately 5,800 registered residents. We are located right next to the Lagan river and have premises with a fantastic view, close to the beach, exercise areas, golf courses, and beautiful nature. We currently have about 30 employees with different professions. At the health centre, we have all the clinics needed to offer good and close care. We have a well-functioning rehabilitation and psychosocial team. Our Child Health Centre (BVC) is integrated into the Family Centre in Laholm.

We are a friendly, cheerful group that takes good care of each other, and we enjoy getting to know new colleagues who bring new ideas to our operations so that we can develop our work to become even better!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a District Nurse. Knowledge and experience in health promotion work are meritorious, as is an interest in developing our lifestyle clinic. Furthermore, we would appreciate if you have previous experience working at a health centre or in patient reception.

You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to work independently. As a person, you are service-oriented and solution-focused, and have a good manner of dealing with people. You cooperate easily and thrive working in a team. The ability to be flexible in your work is also considered an important trait. Good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, are required for the position. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
