We are now looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for a 60-year-old woman in Borlänge.

We prefer that the applicant is a woman and has prior experience in personal assistance. You do not necessarily need to know everything from the start; we value that the role feels right and that the scope of the position fits your life situation.

Your responsibilities

Your duties include assisting with basic needs such as:

• Dressing and undressing
• Meals, cooking, and medication
• Personal hygiene
• Mobility with and without a wheelchair

It also involves helping with household chores or accompanying the client on activities. This could be a trip to a flea market, visiting the grandchildren, or a walk in the forest looking for mushrooms.

Scope of the position

The position currently involves scheduled work every other weekend, as well as extra shifts when the regular assistant is on leave or sick. Longer trips may also occur, where we would appreciate it if you could accompany the client. An example is trips to the cabin in northern Sweden.

Who are you?

You are confident in your professional role, empathetic, and have the ability to see what others need – even if it is not always stated explicitly. To fit the role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Previous experience in personal assistance
• Non-smoker
• Valid driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Working hours: Day, evening, and weekends
Employment type: Part-time
Start date: Immediately

Criminal Record Check
To work as a personal assistant with us, you must provide an extract from the police's criminal record (form 442.3). Please note that the police processing time can be up to two weeks, so order your record extract as soon as possible. The extract will be requested during a potential interview.
