As a Tech Lead at ICA Bank, you work closely with the systems that handle payments, accounts, and cards – functions that need to operate 24/7. At the same time, these systems are undergoing modernization, giving you the opportunity to influence how solutions are built moving forward. This is a role for you if you want to take greater technical responsibility while remaining hands-on in development. You are involved in the code, but also in decisions regarding design and architecture.

What you will do here

In collaboration with the system architect, you as a Tech Lead play a central role in how solutions are developed and function in practice. You move between code, design, and guidance.

• Develop within C# .NET as part of the modernization
• Work with testing, maintenance, and improvements of existing systems
• Develop and drive technical design together with system architects
• Coach and guide developers in technical decisions
• Work with code standards, code reviews, and quality in deliveries
• Support and guide developers in technical questions and solutions
• Contribute to documentation, structure, and how solutions can be maintained over time

The role implies that you are both operational in development and responsible for the technical functioning of the whole.

Your team and workplace

You will become part of a family-like and experienced team with several key roles located in Borås. Here, developers work closely with the system architect, DBA, and team lead, sharing a common responsibility for the systems within ICA Bank.

The work takes place close to the team but also in collaboration with other parts of the organization, both in Sweden and internationally. The role involves many contact points and natural collaboration across team boundaries.

About you

You have several years of experience in C#/.NET development and are accustomed to working with technical design. You have a good understanding of how systems interconnect and feel confident taking responsibility for both code and the big picture.

You have worked with MS SQL Server and T-SQL, build APIs, and are comfortable with modern development flows such as CI/CD. You also have experience with container solutions and are familiar with multithreading.

As a person, you are structured and solution-oriented. You thrive in a role where you both drive work forward and support others in technical matters.

It is meritorious if you have experience with cloud, AI, React, and work from the financial sector. You communicate fluently in English and Swedish.

On-call duties may occur.
