We are now looking for a Senior IT Project Manager for an exciting assignment within AI platforms and security-critical IT environments. This role is perfect for you if you are accustomed to taking overall responsibility, creating structure in complex deliveries, and leading several parallel initiatives with many stakeholders.

About the Assignment

You will lead an ongoing program where a new on-premise AI platform is being built in an environment with high demands for security, governance, and availability. The platform is already in use by the business, and several new use cases are under active delivery. Therefore, the assignment is not about feasibility studies or planning from scratch, but about creating progress, structure, and clear governance in an initiative with real users, active stakeholders, and several parallel delivery streams.

The role involves working closely with delivery teams, stakeholders, architecture, security, and the business, using Kanban as the primary working method to manage flow, visualize work, and remove impediments.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for goals, budget, schedule, and quality in a portfolio of AI-related initiatives
• Establish and drive a Kanban setup as the primary tool for governance and monitoring
• Coordinate several smaller delivery teams working in parallel
• Lead daily stand-ups, replenishment meetings, flow reviews, and other recurring forums
• Manage a broad stakeholder group with representatives from several business areas, architecture, and security
• Translate needs and requirements into clear work items together with the teams
• Monitor deliveries against a rolling roadmap
• Ensure that the work meets requirements within security and governance
• Work closely with the Delivery Manager and act as a central driving force in daily execution

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 9 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
• Extensive experience working in environments with many stakeholders and dependencies
• Documented experience with Kanban and the ability to establish and drive an efficient flow-based working method
• Strong ability to translate business needs into concrete and actionable work for technical teams
• Experience creating structure in complex and partially ambiguous contexts
• Ability to work independently, drive progress, and quickly get things done
• Very good English skills, both verbal and written

Meritorious

• Experience from regulated or security-sensitive IT environments
• Experience from nuclear technology or other critical societal operations
• Experience with AI initiatives or platform deliveries
• Swedish language skills (verbal and written)
