We are looking for an experienced BIM and Model Coordinator for a long-term and complex infrastructure project in Stockholm. This role is ideal for you who have extensive experience in model coordination in multidisciplinary civil engineering projects and wish to work closely with project management, construction management, and design partners in a technically advanced environment.

The assignment is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a planned start date of September 1, 2026. The work takes place primarily in Stockholm, with the possibility of some remote work upon agreement and based on operational needs.

About the Role

As a BIM and Model Coordinator, you will strengthen the project organization within BIM, model management, and digital information coordination. You will support project and construction management with BIM-related issues, handle model and document deliveries, review 3D models, and contribute to the efficient handling of digital information in the project.

The role also involves ensuring that the design follows current design guidelines and that model files are coordinated with adjacent projects and disciplines. You will work both operationally and advisory in an environment with high demands for structure, quality, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle deliveries of documents and models via project platforms, such as Webforum.
• Support and train construction management in model management.
• Create visualizations based on 3D models to support project members.
• Support construction management in handling and visualizing data, including from contractors' self-checks.
• Assist project and construction management during reviews and coordination of design partners.
• Conduct reviews of 3D models and act as a model pilot.
• Review and handle relational model files prior to handover to the facility management database.
• Coordinate and manage model files with adjacent projects.
• Participate in design coordination meetings, construction meetings, technical meetings, and project meetings.
• Develop, adapt, or maintain digital support tools, scripts, applications, or plugins for CAD/BIM and model management programs.
• Contribute to quality assurance, information management, and efficient model review.

Requirements

• You have post-secondary education in a relevant field.
• You have at least 9 years of experience in model coordination in multidisciplinary civil engineering projects.
• You have good proficiency in working with CAD and BIM.
• You have good experience with one or more modeling and review tools, such as Navisworks, AutoCAD, Microstation, or Solibri Model Checker.
• You have experience in digital information and document management from at least one assignment lasting at least 1 year.
• You have strong communication skills and can express yourself well in spoken and written English.
• You have worked in at least one previous assignment where communication was conducted in English.
• You can work full-time, 40 hours per week, for the duration of the assignment.
• You are able to work on-site in Stockholm.

Preferred Qualifications

• It is advantageous if you have experience from the design and construction process in large infrastructure projects with a total cost exceeding 500 MSEK.
• It is advantageous if you have experience from large building construction projects, installation projects, or subway projects in Stockholm.
• It is advantageous if you have experience from contracting activities within civil engineering.
• It is advantageous if you have experience with VDC, information models, or machine control models.
• It is advantageous if you have experience with FME (Feature Manipulation Engine).
• It is advantageous if you have experience with Civil 3D.
• It is advantageous if you have experience with Webforum or similar project platforms.
• It is advantageous if you have developed, adapted, or maintained digital tools, scripts, applications, or plugins supporting CAD/BIM, VDC, model review, information management, quality assurance, or the creation of relational models within civil or infrastructure projects.

Workplace and Scope

Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Location: Stockholm.

Work Style: Work takes place primarily on-site in Stockholm, with the possibility of some remote work upon agreement.

Start: September 1, 2026.

Other: A confidentiality agreement and mandatory introductory or project training may be required before or in connection with the start of the assignment.

You have the ability to work independently but also thrive in close collaboration with project management, construction management, technical specialists, and external parties. You are accustomed to complex project environments with many disciplines, high documentation requirements, and a clear focus on quality and progress.

To succeed in this role, you need a strong understanding of technology, information flows, and coordination. You are solution-oriented and have the ability to translate model information into concrete support for the various functions of the project.
