About the role

As a machine operator for our client in Salem/Skyttbrink, you will be part of a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of the facility's machinery fleet. The role involves driving and maintaining heavy machinery, performing daily safety checks, and collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient and safe workflow. The position is full-time, with a start date to be agreed upon.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maneuver various types of construction machinery (e.g., excavators, wheel loaders, depending on the assignment).
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on machinery.
• Ensure work areas are safe and that safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Load and unload materials and assist with loading onto vehicles.
• Document work performed and report any deviations to the site supervisor.

Who we are looking for

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
• Enjoy practical work and thrive in varying outdoor environments.
• Work well in a team and take initiative when necessary.
• Fluent in Swedish (both spoken and written).

Requirements

• Valid machine operator certificate or equivalent qualification for the relevant machinery types.
• Experience operating heavy construction machinery.
• Valid Class B driver's license.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.

Merits

• Experience with service and basic maintenance of machinery.
• Experience from groundworks, construction, or recycling operations.

• Location: Salem/Skyttbrink
• Scope: Full-time
• Working hours: Varying daytime hours
