Electronic Design Engineer for Connected Vehicle Solutions

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to help develop the next generation of connected vehicles. You will work in a global, cross-functional development environment with a focus on advanced wireless communication and connected systems.

This role involves responsibility for the development, design, and verification of hardware for modern communication solutions. It is ideal for you who thrive on both technical depth and close collaboration with various specialist areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design hardware for wireless communication solutions.
• Work with technologies such as 5G, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and telematics.
• Lead and participate in design reviews throughout the development process.
• Ensure product quality through verification, testing, and validation.
• Collaborate with system engineers, architects, production teams, and external suppliers.
• Develop technical specifications and requirement documents.
• Support certification processes and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in production follow-up and industrialization of new products.
• Drive continuous improvements in products and development processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in electronics or hardware development.
• Experience from the automotive industry or consumer electronics is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electronics design and product development.
• Experience with verification and testing of electronic systems.
• Knowledge of EMC, DV/PV testing, and quality processes.
• Experience with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Understanding of relevant standards and certification requirements.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
