About the role

We are looking for an experienced rolling mill operator for one of our clients in Karlskrona. If you live elsewhere, there is an opportunity to commute weekly, in which case we provide accommodation and per diem.

You will work with rolling and shaping of heavy plate with thicknesses between 25–30 mm. As a rolling mill operator, you will become part of a team responsible for processing and shaping various materials used further in production.

The duties include setting up, operating, and monitoring the rolling mill, as well as working from technical drawings. You will also perform measurements and quality controls, as well as responsible for ongoing maintenance of the equipment.

Start: According to agreement
Working hours: Shift work

Your profile

We look for candidates with experience in rolling and who are accustomed to working with heavy materials.

Requirements:

• Industrial technical high school education or relevant experience
• Good skills in reading technical drawings
• Category B driver's license

It is a merit if you have forklift and crane/overhead traveling crane (traverse) certificates.

As a person, we want you to be responsible, goal-oriented, flexible, positive, orderly, and have good teamwork skills, as the work takes place at our clients' premises.
