About the role

In the role of Data Warehouse Developer, you will have a central function in the development of the company's data platforms. You work with the entire data flow, from data collection and processing to modeling and making information available to support analyses and business decisions.

You will become part of a competent team where data-driven development and innovation are in focus. Together, you will contribute to creating efficient and sustainable solutions that give the business better conditions for making well-founded decisions.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work, but work at the client's site. For the right person, there are good opportunities for direct hire!

Responsibilities

This role involves developing and maintaining data warehouses, creating ETL/ELT solutions, and modeling data to meet the business's analytical needs.

  • Development and improvement of database objects in Teradata
  • Management of ETL pipelines using Informatica (IDMC/Cloud Data Integration or PowerCenter)
  • Participation in planning, development, testing, and deployment
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity in the database for official reporting

We are looking for you who

  • Have a bachelor's degree in computer science, business intelligence, data science, or a related field, as well as at least one year of relevant work experience
  • Have advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Have a good understanding of Data Warehouse modeling
  • Have knowledge and understanding of designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Have experience with Python or other scripting languages
  • Have very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience with Snowflake or Teradata platforms
  • Experience with Informatica tools (IDMC, PowerCenter)
  • Basic knowledge of cloud services
  • Live in or have connections to Umeå
