Are you the person who wants to work with both graphic design, the hardware that runs the design, and the software that interacts with it?

At Omicron Nord, we want to strengthen our team with someone who can bridge the gap between hardware-near software and the human who will ultimately use it.

In this role, you work closely with both hardware engineers and customers to create interfaces that are intuitive, robust, and adapted to the constraints imposed by embedded platforms. At the same time, you are prepared to work on the more technical side towards the systems as well.

We are also open to recent graduates.

What you will do:

• Design and implement user interfaces for embedded systems.
• Work with prototypes and user tests early in the product development process.
• Collaborate closely with software and hardware engineers.
• Develop on the embedded systems that will ultimately run the graphics.

What we would like you to bring:

• Experience in embedded software development (C/C++, RTOS, or similar).
• Genuine interest in user experience and visual communication.
• Ability to move between levels of detail — from bit manipulation to button placement.
• Understanding of design principles, accessibility, and interaction patterns.

Advantageous: Experience with Qt, LVGL, TouchGFX, or similar UI frameworks for embedded systems.
