Development Nurse for Psychiatry in Gällivare – Combine Clinical Work with Development and Leadership

Do you want to help develop future psychiatric care while maintaining close contact with patients and colleagues? We are now looking for a Development Nurse for our psychiatric ward in Gällivare. Here you will play a key role in driving quality and improvement work, strengthening nursing care, and contributing to a practice where the patient is always at the center. This is a role for you who want to take the next step in your career and combine your clinical competence with development, coordination, and leadership.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a licensed and experienced nurse. It is meritorious if you have a specialist nurse degree in psychiatric care or a Step 1 education, as well as experience in psychiatric care. You have an interest in development and improvement work and actively contribute to the development of the practice.

What You Will Work With

As a Development Nurse, you have a central function in the practice where you combine patient-oriented work with practice development, giving you good opportunities to influence how care is organized and developed. In this role, you lead and drive improvement and development work, as well as develop and implement routines and working methods. You work actively with patient safety and quality and contribute to ensuring good and safe care. Furthermore, you support colleagues in nursing work and work to implement evidence-based knowledge in the practice. You also have an important role in change work where you can function as a project manager. The role of Development Nurse gives you great opportunities to influence the development of the practice and help shape the future of psychiatric care in Gällivare.

On the psychiatric ward, we work with adult psychiatric inpatient care. The practice covers both outpatient and inpatient care and is characterized by close collaboration between different professions. With us, you become part of an engaged team consisting of nurses, care assistants, psychologists, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and doctors. Together, we work to create safe, person-centered, and evidence-based care.

Information About the Position

We offer a permanent full-time position with daytime working hours. Start date according to agreement, but preferably as soon as possible. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Based on the nature of the practice and safety requirements, applicants to our practice must be prepared to provide a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record).

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
